CHARCOAL BRIQUETTE

A briquette is a compressed block of coal dust or other combustible biomass material such as charcoal, sawdust, wood chips, peat, or paper used for fuel and kindling to start a fire. Unlike lump charcoal which is pure wood, additives are added in the process of making briquettes. The additives are mainly used to hold the materials together in order to achieve clean little blocks that are often roundish-squarish in shape which makes them easier to stack. Although briquettes burn longer, they do not burn as hot as lump charcoal. Charcoal briquettes burn longer when compared to lumps and It maintains a steady temperature for a longer period. Briquettes are cheaper than lump charcoal. Briquettes are available for both cooking and Shisha purposes.
